ACHWIT delivers through a lean coordination model designed to align stakeholders — not to duplicate ministry mandates.

Governance

• Liaison Office operational; Technical Working Group (TWG) active.
• Phase II: transition TWG toward a formally constituted Board aligned with a continental mandate.
• Strategic partnership with Kenya’s Ministry of Health, State Department for Medical Services; secretariat offices on Mamlaka Road, Nairobi.
• A seven-unit Secretariat delivering day-to-day programmes; secretariat expansion planned for Phase II.

Resource mobilisation

Phase II diversifies income across five streams so no single funder dominates:

• Grants & donor funding (multilaterals, bilaterals, philanthropy)
• Consulting & advisory (county governments, health networks, policy institutions)
• Events income (conference, convention, and related convenings)
• Membership subscriptions (Diaspora Network programme)
• Private sector & CSR (financial services, pharma, corporate philanthropy)

We convene stakeholders, synthesise evidence, broker partnerships and support implementation — including major dialogues and hybrid conferences managed through SummitFlow conference operations.
